Laura Lee – Counsellor
MBACP, Advanced Diploma in Counselling (CBT)
Laura is a counsellor who uses cognitive behavioural therapy with clients within a supportive, encouraging therapeutic relationship. Counselling is tailored to each individual client but will always be confidential, collaborative and provide a safe space to explore issues and reach your own understanding and conclusions.
Laura’s background is in working with people with a range of chronic health conditions including women with endometriosis, pelvic pain and fertility issues. She is currently the counsellor in the specialist pelvic pain clinic at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff and is a trustee of the charity Endometriosis-UK.
Laura has an advanced diploma in therapeutic counselling from the University of Wales, Newport, where she specialised in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). She is currently working towards a research-based Masters qualification in counselling at the university, where she also teaches Psychology and basic counselling skills.
She is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and works to their professional code of ethics.
