Louise Nyakoojo
My name is Louise Nyakoojo and I’m a fully qualified and licenced Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Reiki Practitioner, who has been actively studying Hypnosis and Psychotherapy as well as a number of other therapies for several years.
After studying for a Law degree, then working for many years within the Management Sector, I found that a substantial amount of my time was occupied with helping people to confront what was holding them back, helping them to work through their difficulties and supporting them to overcome their obstacles so that they could achieve more and reach their goals. Not only was this beneficial for the person involved, it was also a benefit to myself as their manager, for my colleagues and of course for the business as a whole as they became more successful and more productive.
I really enjoyed working with people on a one-to-one basis and watching them deal with their issues, grow and develop, become high achievers and go on to live happier, more successful lives. As a result of this, and when the opportunity arose, I decided to make a career change and retrain as a Therapist so that I could devote all of my working time to helping people to overcome, to achieve and to live happier lives.
I am fascinated by how the mind works, how we learn behaviours and develop scripts that play throughout our lives from a very early age. Our subconscious mind is a very powerful thing and is often misunderstood or ignored. Yet if we all harnessed the power of our subconscious mind then we would be amazed at what we could achieve. You can do or be anything You want to, and the only thing that is stopping You from doing so is You!!! I am here to help you change the scripts and behaviours that are hindering your life so that you are free to be the person you deserve to be.
I have a real passion for the fields of Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Counselling and Reiki and have assisted many people from all over the UK. I am caring, friendly, confidential and positive in my approach and committed to helping you find a successful solution to your individual issues.
After 12 years living and working in the West Midlands, an opportunity arose to relocate back to Cardiff. On my return to Cardiff, I have joined a number of other highly qualified, stringently regulated therapists, working from what I would describe as “the Best Therapy Clinic in Wales”.
Knowledge – My Qualifications
I hold a diploma in Hypnotherapy and Hypnoanalysis and am a full-time practicing Licenced member of the Hypnotherapy Society (HS), which is one of the largest organisations of its kind in Europe. All members of the HS are bound by a strict code of practice, ensuring continuing dedication to the professional and ethical use of hypnotherapy and hypnoanalysis.
I am also a fully qualified Psychotherapist, holding a diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling, as well as being a fully qualified and attuned Reiki Practioner. I am also a trained Counsellor and Life Coach.
