Arianna D’Angelo MD – Consultant and Fertility Specialist

Dr D’Angelo graduated in Medicine and gained her MD at the University School of Medicine of Palermo (Italy) in 1996.

After her general training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University Hospital of Palermo she moved to the UK.

Between 1999 and 2000 she attended Cardiff Assisted Reproductive Unit as Honorary Clinical Assistant and was appointed as Research Fellow for the following three years.

In 2004, she was appointed as Consultant in Reproductive Medicine at SISMeR, Reproductive Unit, Bologna (Italy).

In 2005 she joined the team at the Isis Fertility Centre in Colchester as Fertility Specialist. The Isis Fertility Centre was recently quoted as one of the UK’s best according to the HFEA table league.

Currently Dr D’Angelo works as Consultant in Assisted Conception in the Assisted Reproduction Unit at Heath Hospital, Cardiff and as Clinical Lecturer at Cardiff University.

Dr D’Angelo has been a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology (ESHRE) since 2000 and also the Cochrane Menstrual Disorders and Subfertility Group since 1999.

She is author of several international publications on evidence-based medicine; speaker at international conferences and peer-reviewer for journals in the field of Reproductive Medicine.
