Facial Acupuncture

Treatment consists of inserting tiny, hair-like acupuncture needles into specific points in the face to stimulate the flow of blood and energy through the skin.

The principle is that this hydrates, plumps up and boosts the skin’s supply of nutrients and oxygen, thus decreasing the appearance of wrinkles and blemishes.

The treatment works along the same principles as traditional acupuncture, that the health of the body is dependent on the body’s motivating energy, called Qi (pronounced ‘chi’) moving in a smooth and balanced way through a series of channels, or meridians, beneath the skin.

Part of ageing is the skin losing its ability to detoxify naturally, and facial acupuncture works at a cellular level to drench facial cells in nutrients and oxygen, giving them a characteristic ‘glow’, detoxifying and reducing fine lines by hydrating the skin and giving it a fuller look
