What is Meditation?

  •  Many things in life are beyond our control; however with meditation it is possible to take responsibility for and to change one’s state of mind.
  •  Meditation is a technique that encourages and develops concentration, clarity and emotional positivity, and is a technique used to achieve a calm and positive state of mind in which you are always aware of your surroundings.

 

What is the Treatment?

Techniques are fairly simple. By sitting quietly, with good postural alignment, you focus on taking slow even breaths.

Sometimes a word or phrase that appeals is used to help relax the mind further.

Classes are small and will focus on individual needs.
